How Do I Know What My Purpose Is?

One of the most common questions we get asked is “How do I know what my purpose is?”

Figuring out your life purpose is not always easy. But it’s worth taking the time to figure it out because once you know what your purpose is, you can marshal all your resources your time, your energy, your talents to pursuing it.

There are a few different ways you can go about trying to discover your life purpose. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Pay attention to what you love doing.

Your life purpose might be something that you already enjoy doing. If you’re one of those lucky people who have already found their passion in life, congratulations! You’re on your way to finding your life purpose.

2. Consider what you’re good at.

Even if you haven’t found your passion yet, you might have some clues about what yourpurpose could be based on things you’re good at. If you’ve always been good at art, for example, your life purpose might have something to do with artistic expression.

3. Think about what the world needs.

Another way to look at finding your life purpose is to think about what the world might need from you. We all have our own unique talents and abilities, and the world needs all of us to use our gifts to make it a better place.

If you’re struggling to figure out your life purpose, don’t worry you’re not alone. Many people go through their whole lives without ever figuring out what they’re meant to do. But the journey of discovery can be its own reward, and even if you never find that one perfect thing you’re meant to do, you can still lead a fulfilling and meaningful life by pursuing the things that make you happy.

You may be asking yourself, “What is my purpose in life?” It’s a question we all face at some point. And it’s not an easy one to answer. But there are some things you can do to help figure it out.

One way to start is by thinking about what you’re passionate about. What are the things you love to do? What makes you feel alive? When you’re doing something you’re passionate about, you’re more likely to feel like you’re in your element and that it’s your purpose.

Another way to discover your purpose is by looking at your values. What are the things that are important to you? What do you believe in? When you’re living in alignment with your values, you’re more likely to feel like you’re on the right path.

You can also look to the people in your life for clues about your purpose. Who do you want to help? Who do you want to make a difference for? When you’re clear about who you want to serve, you’re more likely to be clear about what your purpose is.

Ultimately, only you can decide what your purpose is. But these are some helpful ways to get started. Trust your gut, follow your heart, and let yourself be guided by what feels right for you.
